YRF To Launch Ali Zafar’s Brother Danyal
Here’s some good news for all Ali Zafar fans: The actor’s younger brother Danyal is all set to make his foray into Bollywood. The good-looking youngster will be launched by Yash Raj Films (YRF).
Here’s some good news for all Ali Zafar fans: The actor’s younger brother Danyal is all set to make his foray into Bollywood. The good-looking youngster will be launched by Yash Raj Films (YRF).
Rumours were rife about Danyal being launched by YRF in 2014 as well, when he was spotted at the premiere of Kill Dil, a film Ali was part of. (Ali also featured in YRF’s 2011 film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan). However, nothing happened on that front and the buzz died a slow death.
However, SpotboyE.com now has it that YRF is planning a film with Danyal for sure. The project will be helmed by Habib Faisal, whose last outing Daawat-E-Ishq (2014) had tanked at the box-office.

Says a source, “Danyal will be launched in Habib’s film alongside 5 other newcomers. Out of the 5, 2 are foreigners and one is a girl from north-east. Danyal plays the romantic lead in the movie, which revolves around a band formed by convicts. Since Danyal is also a singer and guitarist -- he loves blue and rock music -- he is apt for the role.”
The source adds: “The film will go on floors by October end. The recce is on, but most probably, the shoot will start in Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh).” Meanwhile, there’s also buzz that the subject of Danyal’s film is quite similar to the movie Nikhil Advani is planning to make with Farhan Akhtar.
